SPECIAL - Congressman Tom Price, MD on historic opportunity

The Docs4PatientCare Foundation was created by practicing physicians with a combined experience of over 140 years of direct patient care.

Our doctors have extensively studied the problems in the healthcare sector and have devoted thousands of hours analyzing the issues and developing solutions that make sense for America.

Collaborating with leaders in the national healthcare policy community, legislators, business experts and the media has allowed us to develop common sense workable alternatives from our unique perspective.

Beginning from the ground up with a clear focus on the sanctity and value of the relationship between a doctor and a patient, ideas and proposals have been developed which address the needs of all patients and the profession dedicated to serving them.

Understanding healthcare at the most intimate and private primary level, the point of interaction between the patients and their doctor, sets us apart from other experts in the field.

NEW: The Doctor's Lounge

SPECIAL - Congressman Tom Price, MD & the Historic Opportunity at Hand

Dr. Tom PriceThe mid-term elections have brought a sea change, not only to the Federal government, but to State legislatures across the country.  The opportunity at hand is historic, even with the President who signed the ACA still in office.

Congressman Tom Price, himself a physician and professor of orthopedic surgery, will join Hal Scherz in the Doctor's Lounge to lay out the the new political realities and the strategic points of impact the D4PC Foundation and our audience can, no, must have.

Congressman Tom Price, MD, Secretary of the D4PC Foundation Hal Scherz, MD, and radio host Hugh Hewitt at a Washington, DC reception hosted by Docs4PatientCare in 2012.

From the Price bio:  First elected to Congress, representing the Sixth District of Georgia, in November 2004, Price was re-elected with broad support in 2006 and 2008. Prior to going to Washington, Price served four terms in the Georgia State Senate – two as Minority Whip. In 2002, he became the first Republican Majority Leader in the history of Georgia.

Price has been an outspoken advocate for patient-centered health care reform in Washington. His signature legislation, the Empowering Patients First Act, would bring about positive changes to provide access for all Americans to affordable, quality health care.

Congressman Price is a champion of the FairTax and an All-You-Can-Create Energy Plan. He was also elected by his colleagues to serve as Chairman of the House Republican Study Committee (RSC) during the 111th Congress. The RSC is committed to providing principled, common sense solutions to all of our nation’s challenges.
